Meet Helga, a1989 horse truck (or as they call it across the pond, horse box). It was recently given quite the upgrade by Somerset, England-based business House-Box. Now, instead of hauling horses, it houses a dream home instead.

"When Helga first arrived she was still very much a horse-box (complete with hay and poo!)," the company wrote in a Facebook post with photos by Will Bunce. "We fully stripped the box, planed the timber back, and blasted and repainted the frame."

"With the addition of lots of engineering and customizations," they continued, "we built her back up from scratch and added heaps of off-grid wizardry behind the scenes so that her owners can truly be home, wherever in the world they choose to park up."

But as a few commenters have pointed out, all that wood adds a whole lot of weight. And while House-Box is careful to select the smartest materials possible—for example, the worktop is light-for-its-size sequoia—it's more of a "moveable home" than a vehicle intended for continuous travel.
